Hey fellow person of a million hobbies lol! I realized I don't think I've said anything on your guestbook before which is a huge shame. You probably already know I love your website but it begs to be said as many times as possible. I love seeing your blog posts and your recent one resonated with me about how you're getting kind of tired of the competitive nature of online fashion communities and other fashion enthusiasts. Even though I'm really fond of fashion, as I consider so much of it a unique art form, often so much surrounding it clashes with my values. I have so much love for art and the handmade, I believe you do as well, but it's hard sometimes to really feel like crafting together an outfit or a collection of pieces is about me expressing myself and connecting with art by other people or if it's just me trying to be seen and noticed as a certain type of person. I'm sure there's a lot to be said about beauty culture and the desire to be seen as beautiful overwhelming the desire to express something more authentic. I guess I'm rambling way more than a normal person should in a guestbook lol but I just wanted you to know you're one of the people on Neocities that really gets me thinking in a good way, your work is motivating without feeling out of touch, and I think you've done something really special here. It can be hard to keep up with a website compared to just posting on social media, so I'm glad you're still going strong at your own pace. I hope this message finds you well.
